The USGBC’s 22,000 sq. ft. office suite is located within the LEED Gold certified building of the Service Employees International Union in Washington, DC. One of the goals of the project was to demonstrate that environmentally responsible building principles also make for a healthier and more productive work environment. The aesthetic properties of the chosen materials was considered along with their green attributes, yielding a space built at the highest level of sustainability, that performs as beautifully as it looks.

- Use of sustainable materials, including bamboo flooring, recyclable ceiling tiles, reused granite countertops, non-toxic paint, and reclaimed glass panels and millwork
