Whisper Wool is a premium underlayment that attenuates sound, protects your flooring or carpet, and offers a slight insulating value (R-0.65) when used under floating floors. It is made from 100% New Zealand and Australian wool: a rapidly renewable resource.

Whisper Wool Floating Floor Underlayment contains a thin backing of polypropylene (an inert plastic) that serves as a vapor barrier to inhibit mold growth. It is comfortable underfoot and will make your hard surface feel cooler in summer and warmer in winter than a comparable floor without underlayment.

Whisper Wool Carpet Padding prolongs carpet life by reducing wear against the underlying surface. It will make your carpet feel softer, more resilient, and warmer in winter.

Whisper Wool fibers are treated with the antimicrobial additive Sanitized® and naturally absorb VOC's that may be offgassing from other materials in the room. Contains a minimum of 85% recycled wool that is recovered from carpet manufacturers.
