With superior coverage and Green Seal™ certification, YOLO Colorhouse performs like a premium conventional paint, yet it has low odor, no harmful chemicals, and no added solvents. YOLO Colorhouse has no VOCs. YOLO Colorhouse is a high performing latex paint with excellent hide and durability.


YOLO Colorhouse paints are free of carcinogens, mutagens, hazardous air pollutants, ozone depleting compounds, formaldehyde, phthalates, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Their distinctive color palettes also makes it easy to choose color combinations that go great together.


The YOLO Colorhouse palette is created to be timeless and easy to live with. Each color is designed to be a rich backdrop for comfortable living, adding a sense of depth to interior spaces. The colors are designed to work together and create easy and healthy backdrops for living spaces.

    Surface Preparation: Surfaces to be painted must be clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, grease, wax, and mildew. Remove peeling paint or loose material on surface*. Glossy surfaces must be dulled or primed for best results. For new wallboard, thoroughly vacuum fine dust from walls. Use Yolo Colorhouse® Inside Primer for new wallboard, new wood, cured masonry and plaster, spackled areas, and when going from a dark to light color. New plaster or masonry must be allowed to cure 30-60 days before priming. If previously painted with latex, no priming is necessary. Do not paint on unprimed metal.


    Application: Mix paint thoroughly before use. Keep lid on can of unused portion to prevent skinning. Apply with brush to cut-in edges and roller to roll wall surfaces. For brushing, use a high-quality brush. For rolling, use 3⁄8" to ¾" nap roller cover. For airless sprayer - no thinning is recommended, 2000-2500 PSI, tip - .015"-.021". For conventional sprayer and HVLP, reduce up to 1 pint per gallon with clean water.


    Clean Up: Remove excess paint from equipment before washing with water.


    Thinning: Thinning is not recommended.
