Point of View
Daylighting is the practice of situating windows, conventional skylights, or tubular skylights that run from rooftop to ceiling, so that sunlight is captured, diverted, or channeled to bring it effectively and beautifully indoors. Architects have long used daylighting to reduce a home's energy use and maintenance costs, but it can also provide less tangible benefits. Studies show that increasing your daily exposure to sunlight improves concentration and mood, and can even make you feel more productive.
