8/2-3 Good Housekeeping Magazine's Third Annual Green House

Take a tour of Good Housekeeping Magazine's third annual green house- the first LEED-certified* private residence in Manhattan. The home features four stories of the latest trends in green design and home appliances, with interiors by Robin Wilson of Robin Wilson Home and gardens by Aveeno. Your $10 entrance fee will directly benefit Go Green East Harlem, a community greening initiative of the Manhattan Borough President’s Office.

Location: 151 West 122nd Street New York, NY 10027 (between Lenox Avenue & Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard) The Green House is accessible via the #2 and #3 trains to 125th Street.

This lecture is 9th in a series of 13: The CUNY Institute for Sustainable Cities presents the 3rd annual Governors Island Science, Art Exhibition and Lecture Series. All lectures are free and open to the public, held in Pershing Hall at 12:30 PM on Saturdays, on Governors Island. Ferries leave from the Battery Maritime Building in Southern Manhattan.
